"With its humble begins in 1999, Orient Bakery and Pastry Shops was initiated in 1999 by Mr S.H.P Lakshman Abeywardena, who is the third generation of his family to be involved in the bakery industry. Opening his first outlet at the center of the Veyangoda town, Mr Abeywardena focused on providing customers with freshly baked products with the best quality and great taste. Through immense dedication and utmost commitment Mr Abeywardena managed to expand business over the years. Currently, we operate a chain of bakery outlets based in Gampaha, with a central bakery located at Veyangoda. We provide our customers with a wide variety of high quality bakery products ranging from buns, bread and pastries to bakery biscuits, cakes and gateau. Orient Bakery and Pastry shops has grown over years to more than 15 outlets based in Minuwagoda, Gampahha town, Naiwala , Nittabuwa and Wathupitiwala. ”
